What Do We Do?

We use our expertise in non-drug, non-invasive treatment methods for a range of pain, cognitive health and mental health problems. While cancer survivorship is has been the core of our research mission, we bring our combination of cutting-edge neuroscience and psychotherapy to help anyone restore well-being.

Personalized evaluation is fundamental to our approach, based on our experience of quantitatively measuring individual responses during research and decades of private practice in Family Therapy.

We have a specialty in treating CIPN and cancer-related conditions, based on our research at MDA Anderson Cancer center.

Aside from providing clinical services, we want to improve access to treatment, continue to evolve research and implement research findings widely and quickly. We do this through a charitable foundation, business partnerships, and a focus on training and education.

Meet Dr Sarah Prinsloo
Dr. Sarah Prinsloo is an applied neuroscientist who enjoyed a 15 year career as a faculty member at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. Her research focuses on neuromodulation, pain and cancer-related symptom management.
Dr. Prinsloo is a Board member of BCIA, the organization that sets standards and certification of Neurofeedback practitioners. She also has a twenty-plus year career as a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist.
In her research, she measured different patient responses to neuromodulatory treatments. In her private practice she experienced the broad range of environmental and relational factors that influence mental health. These deep experiences of the uniqueness of patients drive her approach providing care:

Why Was Neuromod Labs Founded?
Advances in neuroscience are moving faster than ever, discovering new ways to ease the symptoms that affect millions of people living with the effects of cancer and other medical conditions. My lab was the first in the nation to bring neuromodulation technology to cancer survivorship. We have discovered neuromodulation therapies that show clear benefits for cancer survivors—reducing neuropathy, pain, fatigue, cognitive fog, and other treatment‑related symptoms.
However, scientific progress alone is not enough. Despite strong evidence supporting these therapies, most patients wait years—sometimes decades—before they become part of routine care. This delay is especially challenging for cancer survivors, who frequently live with persistent symptoms long after treatment ends.
Our Initiative was created to change that timeline. We bring together scientific discovery, clinical innovation, and real‑world implementation to ensure that proven neuromodulation therapies reach the individuals, families, and communities who need them most.
